Gerald Farley, leader of the Administration and Finance Team for the Baptist Convention of New Mexico, will once again, lead the Church Financial Workshop for our Tri-Area churches, on Saturday, May 3rd, at Central Baptist Church in Clovis.
This workshop is for pastors, staff, deacons, treasurers, finance committee members, and anyone else who is interest in the finances of their church. One of the benefits of the workshop is that Gerald provides a notebook filled with all the information he covers in the workshop as a reference tool for the upcoming year. This workshop is scheduled annually by Tri-Area because of how often new rules and regulations come up from government action each year. So attending this workshop will help make sure you church is up-to-date on the latest changes in the law, etc.
This workshop will start at 10 a.m. and conclude at noon with a meal, so it is important for Tri-Area to know how many to provide a meal for and for Gerald to know how many notebooks he will need to compile. So a deadline has been set for Monday, April 28th. Interested person should text our DOM, Dave McFadden at 575-607-5495 by the end of that day to let him know if they plan to attend.
