Tri-Area Baptist Association

On Saturday, May 17th, at Central Baptist in Clovis, Lon Graham will lead a seminar for Tri-Area pastors and lay persons on the subject, "Pillars of the Past: Essential Moments in Baptist History." This seminar will take participants from the beginnings of Baptists up until the establishment of the Southern Baptist Convention and current times. The seminar will last for two hours, beginning at 10 a.m. and concluding at noon.

Lon is the Vice-President of the New Mexico Baptist Children’s Home in Portales. He is also a professor with the International Baptist Theological Study Centre in Amsterdam, Holland. He has his PhD and also serves as a member of the Editorial Board of European Baptist Studies. He has also served as a pastor.

In order for Lon to adequately prepare, is is important to know how many will be attending the seminar on the 17th. So a deadline has been set for Thursday, May 15th. Interested person should text our DOM, Dave McFadden at 575-607-5495 by the end of that day to let him know if they plan to attend.
